WELDING

This introductory course covers the fundamentals of arc welding utilizing the SMAW welding process to run beads and perform single and multiple-pass welds on fillet and groove joints.  You will also experience basic oxy-fuel cutting.   The supply list is printed on the invoice.

Prerequisite: Arc Welding I or prior welding experience

Get ready to elevate your arc welding expertise in this advanced SMAW class! You will delve deeper into the horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions and explore pipe welding processes and positions. Enhance your knowledge of material cutting and preparation for welding. For the experienced welder or the weekend warrior, this course provides training in basic and advanced techniques required to upgrade skill levels for additional career opportunities or for your personal use. Acquire techniques in the MIG (GMAW) and Flux-core (FCAW) processes, using ER70S-6 and E71T-1 filler metals on a carbon steel plate. Learn to work in all fillet and grooved plate positions. The supply list is printed on the invoice.
