Students receive an introduction to Residential Wiring skills, which focus on Basic Electrical Safety, Basic Electrical Theory, and Residential Wiring concepts concurrent with the 2020 National Electrical Code. Students will learn installation techniques, safety, and residential wiring activities. They are exposed to common materials and equipment typically found performing residential work and are required to understand raceway and wiring installation aspects such as codes, safety, and industry practices through the use of lectures and hands-on labs. Refunds for classes 8 weeks or longer have a non-refundable deposit/registration fee. If you cancel a course at any time, a refund will be provided, less the amount of the deposit. If you elect to keep your funds on account for future use, you will be granted a one-time transfer for your deposit/registration fee. No refunds, transfers, or credits will be granted on or after the course start date.
