This course introduces students to the fundamentals of residential electrical systems with a strong emphasis on safety, basic electrical theory, and compliance with the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC).
Students will learn how to safely install wiring and electrical components in residential settings using industry-standard materials and techniques. Through a mix of lectures and hands-on labs, the course covers key concepts such as:
• Electrical safety protocols
• Wiring methods and materials
• Raceway installation, code compliance, and industry best practices
