OUR STORY

St. Charles Adult Education has been providing affordable, quality educational programs for over 80 years. Our story began in 1943 when America was in the middle of World War II and rationing. Many men were serving our country in distant places, and women in St. Charles needed training for welding and other factory jobs vacated by men. With that in mind, ACE began providing career training in St. Charles for these wartime positions. 

Since then, along with welding, we have added additional certificate career courses in EMT, phlebotomy, HVAC, precision machining, and residential wiring, providing students with classroom instruction and hands-on training opportunities.  

If you desire to get fit, learn a new skill, or embrace your creative side, register for one or more of our recreation or personal enrichment classes and take advantage of the opportunity to explore subjects that will excite and challenge you.

If time is of the essence, we offer over 300 online courses through ed2go and UGotClass, which are excellent options and will give you access to classes 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
