ACRYLIC PAINTING I

If you’ve ever wanted to paint with acrylics, this class is for you! Designed with beginners in mind, you’ll gain inspiration and direction to help you get started and be introduced to the unique ‘forgiving’ qualities of acrylic paint. We will experiment with different textures and techniques, learn basic color theory, how to mix colors, and how to start with a loose sketch or idea as a roadmap to complete the painting. In this class, you will be introduced to the basics of watercolor by exploring materials, blending, color theory, mixing, layering, transparency, and ways to highlight and enhance your paintings.
