We all have individual body structures, health issues, and injuries, and our postures should be aligned accordingly. Foundations of Yoga is a slow-paced class that will allow you to feel confident and comfortable by understanding the most common poses (asana) and proper alignment. No matter your yoga goals or what style you prefer to practice, this class will properly prepare you for your yoga journey ahead! The supply list will be provided on the invoice.
In this 4-week course, participants will explore effective mindfulness and stress-relief techniques, including meditation practices and gentle yoga movements designed to reduce tension and promote mental clarity. Through guided breathing exercises, body scan meditations, and accessible yoga poses, participants will learn how to integrate mindfulness into their daily routines, manage stress, and enhance their overall well-being. Whether new to mindfulness or looking to refine your practice, this course will provide practical tools for fostering a more relaxed and centered life. Yin Yoga is a practice that focuses on compressing and stretching the connective tissues, ligaments, joints, deep fascial networks, and bones, which is essential to achieving optimal health and well-being. In Yin Yoga, each pose (asana) is performed while seated or lying on the floor and held for 1.5 to 5 minutes. Although it can be intense for some, Yin Yoga is a meditative practice that teaches mindfulness. This practice is suitable for all skill levels. The supply list will be provided on the invoice.
Slow Flow Yoga connects breath to movement and is ideal for beginners or those wanting to slow down and quiet the mind. These slower-paced movements enable deeper breaths and encourage a mind-body connection. Each pose flows into the next, creating a moving meditation. This style of yoga is suitable for all levels. It relieves stress, develops flexibility and stability, and calms the mind. You will leave feeling refreshed and energized. The supply list will be provided on the invoice.
Do you want to achieve the benefits of good health? Join us in this slower-paced class using simple yoga poses that will help you increase strength and muscle tone. While the intensity may be lower, the focus and commitment are high. You will move steadily, slowly cycling through a series of mostly floor-based or seated asana poses. The supply list will be provided on the invoice.
REFIT is a dynamic fitness experience that pairs powerful moves with uplifting music. This cardio-driven, full-body workout focuses on toning, flexibility, strength training, and stretching. No dance or exercise experience is needed, and it’s perfect for beginners, with the option to adjust the intensity to suit your needs. So, join us for 60 minutes of energizing FUN! The supply list is printed on the invoice.
NOTE: REFUND POLICY
For courses lasting less than eight weeks, you must notify the ACE office at least two full business days before the class start date to receive a refund. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied. If you elect to keep your funds on account for future use, the $10 cancellation fee will be waived. If the request is received less than two full business days before the start of class, no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued.
