Erich Schaefer is a precision machine technician and advanced manufacturing instructor. He has over 20 years of experience in CNC setup, fixturing, and CAD CAM programming. Erich is certified in MasterCam and Inventor 2018 and achieved 2nd place in a MasterCam National competition. He taught at Southwestern Illinois College, specializing in manual machining, CNC programming, NIMS Certification, and multi-axis Programming. Erich is committed to empowering students with valuable skills. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, and woodworking.
