PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL CODER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) categorizes medical coders under Medical Records and Health Information Technicians (also called Medical Records Specialists). The BLS projects the employment of medical records specialists to grow 7% from 2024 to 2034, a rate much faster than average, with about 14,200 projected job openings annually.

Gain the skills to succeed in medical coding and prepare for the AAPC (American Academy of Professional Coders) CPC certification. Earning your CPC certification not only boosts your credibility as a skilled medical coder but also opens doors to greater career advancement and higher earnings in the healthcare industry. Employers value certified coders for their expertise in accurately coding procedures and diagnoses, resulting in increased job stability and opportunities for professional growth.

Throughout the 16-week program, you will master essential coding systems like ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS, learn to navigate complex regulatory requirements, and practice real-world coding scenarios to ensure accuracy and compliance. Additionally, students gain access to a complimentary medical terminology curriculum, designed to enhance coding proficiency and improve exam performance. Take the first step toward advancing your career in medical coding—enroll now to earn your certification!

NOTE—This program is WIOA (Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act) approved, providing added financial support for eligible students.
