Launch your career in precision manufacturing with this hands-on Machining & CNC Fundamentals course developed in collaboration with local industry leaders to get you job-ready. Students gain practical experience in manual mills and lathes, precision measurement, print reading, and CNC setup, operation, and foundational programming.
This training emphasizes industry-relevant skills that support success in modern manufacturing environments and serves as the first step toward a high-demand, high-wage career in machining technology. It also creates pathways to internships and apprenticeships with industry partners such as Hydromat.
Upon successful completion, students earn a certificate of completion representing 72 instructional hours.
NOTE—Safety glasses, jeans, and steel-toe work boots are required.

Any course with a non-refundable deposit will forfeit the deposit if canceled. The remaining balance will be refunded if the ACE office is notified at least two full business days before the class start date; otherwise, it is non-refundable. You may choose to keep your funds on credit for future use; in that case, the deposit will not be forfeited. Credits must be used within 12 months of the cancellation. All standard cancellation rules apply.

To receive a refund, you must notify the ACE office at least two full business days before the class start date. A $10 cancellation fee will apply; otherwise, the full balance is non-refundable. If you choose to keep your funds on credit for future use, the $10 fee is waived. Credits must be used within 12 months of the cancellation. All standard cancellation rules apply.
