
NEW Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA)
Clinical medical assistants play an important role in the daily operations of medical facilities and clinics. Obtaining a CCMA Certification demonstrates your expertise in performing tasks that keep physicians’ offices and healthcare clinics running efficiently.
As a student, you’ll enjoy learning a variety of medical administration policies and procedures, that include:
• Assisting providers with exams, office procedures
• Checking patients in and out of a medical facility or hospital
• Takes and records patients’ vital signs, administering injections or medications
• Preparing patients for examinations, and other medical procedures
• Performing various lab procedures, EKG, and essential Point of Care Testing
At the end of the course, you will be prepared to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). WIOA Approved
