Cancellations
Classes are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment is not met. If St. Charles Adult and Community Education cancels a class, you will be notified by phone and/or email. You will be given the option to receive a full refund of your registration fee, transfer to another class, or receive a credit for future use.
Withdraws/Refunds
All classes less than 8 weeks must notify the AE office at least two full business days before the class start date to receive a refund. A $10 cancellation fee will be applied. If you elect to keep your funds on account for future use, the $10 cancellation fee will be waived (limitations do apply). If the request is received less than two full business days prior to the start of class, no refunds, transfers, or credits will be issued. Refunds for classes 8 weeks or longer have a non-refundable deposit fee. If you cancel a course at any time a refund will be provided, less the amount of the deposit. If you elect to keep your funds on account for future use, you will be a granted a one-time transfer for your deposit. No refunds will be granted on or after the course start date.
Inclement Weather
In the case of inclement weather, the St. Charles Adult and Community Education program generally, but not always, follows the City of St. Charles R-6 School District closing schedule. Be sure to check for day and evening class closings on our website. If canceled, classes will be rescheduled.
