Parents of children at Lincoln Elementary School can dowload forms for the field trip to Blackhurst Elementary School for the Sept. 18 Early Release Day here: sept 18 field trip permission slip. The $10 (for currently enrolled PRR students) or $12 (for drop in students) fee is due by Sept. 17 along with the permission slip.
In Project Read and Reach, children play, read, hear from guest speakers, go on field trips, make friends and learn about their community and the global community. Programming includes literacy through use of the Nook eReader, character education and service-learning projects. Keep up with Project Read and Reach news by checking out the Facebook page.
Please Note: If students are withdrawing from the program, or would like to request a change in the dates and times they attend, we require two weeks notice. Please turn in the form found below and submit it to the Adult and Community Education office.
Project Read and Reach is open each day school is in session, Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. until school starts and after school until 6 p.m.
Parents can request one week “off” of paying for PRR either due to vacation or illness. Please fill out the form below and submit to Adult and Community Education office.
Early Dismissals and No School Days
Child care for early dismissal days is also available for an additional $10 fee for students currently enrolled in PRR. Parents of children who are not regularly enrolled in PRR can take advantage of an Early Release Day drop-in rate of $12. In order to participate, families must have paid the annual registration fee and have the proper paperwork on file. Pre-registration for each Early Release Day is required.
Full-day care is available during the week of spring break for students who sign up for the Spring Break Retreat.
Project Read and Reach Extreme Summer Camp is offered to all children ages 4-12 during the summer months.
Project Read and Reach is closed on the following holidays:
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Break
- Winter Break
- President’s Day
- Martin Luther King Day
- Memorial Day
Tuition and Payments
Project Read and Reach fees are based on the number of times per week the child(ren) are attending the program. For more information, please click here.
Any K-4 child attending school at Blackhurst Elementary or Lincoln Elementary School may be enrolled in Project Read and Reach. Enrollment is limited due to staff-student ratio guidelines and availability. Registration may be completed:
