NEW Watercolor Painting — Getting Started
Have you always wanted to paint in watercolor but were afraid to try? Approach the art of watercolor one step at a time with a series of skill-building exercises. Understand the building blocks of watercolor: the wash, how light works, brush techniques, and the use of value to create volume.

NEW Advanced Watercolor Techniques
Would you like to expand and challenge your skills in developing realistic paintings? Do you have a good understanding of the four basic washes, glazing, and brush handling? In so, this class is for you! Each week we’ll focus on a different aspect of making a successful watercolor painting: value, color, and composition. Emphasis will be placed on individual expression, and participants will use their own photographs or sketches for source material. Supply list provided.

NEW Acrylic Painting for Beginners
If you’ve ever wanted to just try painting, this class is for you! Designed with beginners in mind, you’ll gain inspiration and direction to help you get started. Students will be introduced to the unique ‘forgiving’ qualities of acrylic paint which allows them to experiment with a variety of textures and techniques. Basic color theory and color mixing will also be explored, as well as how to start with a loose sketch or idea as a roadmap to complete the painting. Supply list provided.

NEW Art is Therapy
Art is therapy and a way to forget it all! This is not your typical art course. In this class, you’ll receive a taste of all mediums. We’ll work with drawing pencils, pastels, and watercolor while listening to relaxing music. You’ll enjoy therapeutic treats along the way as we share our artistic talents. Supply list provided.
