Heating and Air Conditioning Technology
Discover the principles of basic refrigeration and heat theory, read and understand basic wiring schematics, as well as test, diagnose, and service residential-sized air conditioning units. You will study automatic and electrical controls for heating and heat pump equipment, including electric heat, gas furnaces, and heat pumps. This course includes classroom instruction and shop time.
Upon completion of the course, students will be prepared for the EPA test. The EPA test fee of $55 is payable to the instructor. Safety glasses are required. VA and WIOA Approved
